Intro to Recurrence

What is a recurring shift? Why would you need to create one? Read on for the answer to these questions and more!

A recurring shift, or recurring assignment, is an assignment that may be regularly scheduled, or that you would need covered repeatedly over a period of time. For example, a regular clinic appointment, or a bi-weekly cleaning service at an office building would take much more work if you had to create a new assignment regularly, each time they were needed.

Making a recurring shift instead saves a lot of time in repetitively inputting the same information over and over. Instead, you'll follow almost the same workflow as creating a single assignment, but you'll be able to set it to replicate itself multiple times until a given start date.
