A recurring assignment refers to a task or job that repeats or occurs regularly over a specified period of time. In the context of Staffpoint or similar systems, a recurring assignment feature allows users to schedule and manage assignments that repeat on a regular basis, such as daily, weekly, monthly, or at custom intervals.

For example, if a company needs to schedule a cleaning service for their office every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, they would create a recurring assignment specifying these days. The system would then automatically generate these assignments on the specified days without the need for manual input each time.

In essence, a recurring assignment streamlines the scheduling process by automating the creation of repetitive tasks, saving time and effort for users.
